Songwriters of North America (SONA) is proud to present Songs & Score: Inside the Craft, a free, one-night-only event celebrating the music of this television awards season! Join us for moderated conversations featuring breakdowns of your favorite songs and scores from television hits, plus a few stripped-down performances. Plus, arrive early for a chance to connect with the performers, hosts, and the SONA community during a networking hour before the show.
The night will be hosted by several SONA leaders, including Michelle Lewis (Award-winning songwriter and composer behind music from Cher, Little Mix, Doc McStuffins, and Kindergarten: The Musical, and co-founder of SONA); Kay Hanley (Peabody Award-winning songwriter, singer, best known as the lead vocalist of Letters to Cleo, and co-founder of SONA); Autumn Rowe (Grammy Award-winning songwriter, producer, DJ, and vocal coach renowned for her work on Jon Batiste’s We Are); Jeannie Lurie (Emmy-winning songwriter behind Hannah Montana, Sonny with a Chance, Good Luck Charlie, and Shake it Up); Mark Rivers (composer behind Big Mouth, Mary Shelley's Frankenhole, and Anomalisa); Siddhartha Khsola (Emmy-winning composer of Only Murders In The Building, This Is Us, Paradise, Imperfect Women, and the animated film Swapped); and Taura Stinson (Award-nominated songwriter, composer, and librettist behind Thelma the Unicorn, Rio 2, CARMEN, Cruella, and more).
