About Lauren
Lauren Christy is co-creator of The Matrix, the trio wrote and produced the worldwide phenomenon Avril Lavigne’s “LET GO” which included three international number one hits: ‘Complicated,’ ‘Sk8er Boi ‘and ‘I’m With You’ - selling 25 million copies. For

‘Complicated’, the Matrix trio won the Ivor Novello Award for International Hit of The Year. The Matrix also received seven Grammy nominations: Song of the Year in 2003 for ‘Complicated’and again in 2004 for I’m With You along with Producer of the Year (Lauren is one of only 2 women to ever be nominated for producing acts other than themselves )

Lauren is releasing her first album titled "THEIR HITS MY WAY" in August 2024 Produced by Lauren and Benj Heard . It's a covers record of all her biggest hits she has cowritten and produced , she's dropping a song a month starting February 9th .

Lauren is currently working on Republic Records Haiden Henderson, Jessie Murph , Sekou and her own daughter's Georgia Christy Edwards and Sophie Skye Edwards band SkyeChristy .

About Tom

Tom Gray is a Mercury Prize-winning songwriter, composer, campaigner and Chair of The Ivors Academy. He is a founding member of the band Gomez and the founder of the #BrokenRecord campaign, which is calling for reform of the music industry and a rebalance of power towards artists and creatives. He is an elected Council member of PRS for Music and sits on the board of UK Music. In 2022 he received the Music Producer Guild’s Unsung Hero award. He is also the composer and lyricist of many children’s musicals. 

About Roberto

Roberto Neri is Chief Executive Officer of The Ivors Academy. He has over 25 years’ experience in senior leadership roles across the global music industry. Before joining The Ivors Academy, Roberto was CEO of the publishing arm of Believe. His career includes senior roles at Downtown Music, Eagle-i Music and Bug Music. Roberto was previously Chair of the MPA, Board Director of PRS-MCPS and PPL PRS, and continues to serve on the UK Music Board. He is also a Trustee of the charity Music For My Mind. 

About Erin
Erin McAnally is a lifelong member of the music community. Born in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and raised in Nashville, she’s built a multifaceted career spanning A&R, production, music supervision and scoring for film and TV, publishing, and live events.

Now based in Los Angeles, Erin serves as Executive Director of Songwriters of North America (SONA) and co-owns a publishing company with her husband, Mick Utley. Together, they frequently collaborated with Jimmy Buffett, penning two songs featured on his final, posthumous album.

Beyond her advocacy work, Erin has served as a consultant and prose writer, partnering with artists, brands, and nonprofits on marketing and communications, fundraising, education, events, and operations. She developed and taught a national education program for the Artist Rights Alliance, equipping music creators with tools to protect their rights and helping the organization expand strategically. Her writing has been published in Scalawag, Bluegrass Situation, The Tennessee Lookout, Nashville Lifestyles, and Good Country.

An experienced public speaker, Erin has presented at Folk Alliance, Ivors Academy Summit, SXSW, AmericanaFest, and the U.S. Copyright Office’s Unclaimed Royalties Study Kickoff Symposium.
