March 27, 2026
12 P.M. PT / 3 P.M. ET
About The Event
Join us on March 27th for our next virtual event Write-Offs & Royalties: The Songwriter's Guide to Taxes, brought to you by SONA and The SONA Foundation. This session will be led by Tate Henshaw (Co-Founder, Arc Business Management and Secretary, Georgia Music Partners) and Jason Moll (Managing Director, ARC).
We get it, taxes are nobody's favorite. However, understanding even tiny elements of it can save you thousands. In this practical workshop, we’ll break down the timeline for deadlines, how to report royalties and 1099s, and maximize deductions and expenses as a creator. You’ll also learn how to organize the chaos year-round, making April 15th a little less daunting. Whether you’re just starting out or earning serious checks, this session will help you keep more of what you make.
